Completely renovated in November of 2007, lodging options include both suites and cottages. Pet-friendly rooms available and full country breakfast is served each morning in the Birches dining room - a great way to begin your letterboxing day!

Friday Night Halloween Costume Welcome Buffet

Can't think of a better way to kick off this special letterboxing Pinecone Adventure than breaking bread together . . . and exchanges to follow!
We've hand-picked a special buffet menu that we know you will enjoy. There will be something for everyone. The buffet will consist of Macaroni & Cheese with Lobster, Vegetarian Lasagna, Chicken Divan, mixed veggies, salad, bread & butter, cheese & fruit platters, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased at an additional charge at the pub located in the next room.

Don't forget to bring your costume. Of course, they are optional but we encourage all of you to participate.

Time: 7pm; buffet served promptly at 7:30pm

Place: Birches Restaurant, Whitney's Inn
This recently renovated dining room, The Birches, located in at Whitney's Inn, will wrap its arms around you with its warm colors and beautiful country setting. The perfect place to meet the whole letterboxing group, participate in exchanges after dinner and maybe a little boxing mischief thrown in to round out the evening?


Don't forget to tell your innkeeper at the time of reservation that you want to attend this buffet and the number of attendees.

You might just want to relax a day or two before or after the Bed & Boxing weekend. We are pleased to offer you further discounted rates to either arrive early or stay late or both! These rates include breakfast.

Standard Room - additional $89 per night plus tax
Deluxe Room - additional $99 per night plus tax
Cottage - additional $199 per night

Please note: If you extend your 2 night stay, your initial deposit will be increased to half the number of nights that you have reserved. For example, 4 nights stay = 2 nights deposit.
